Mayors to Create Art for Graham
Mayors from Atlantic Beach to Palm Coast will create original works of art, or at least give it their best effort, in support of Art Graham’s campaign for the Florida Senate.
Former Jacksonville Mayors Jake Godbold and John Delaney will join Atlantic Beach Mayor John Meserve, Neptune Beach Mayor Harriet Pruett, Jacksonville Beach Mayor Fland Sharp, and Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts on Wednesday, May 20th at The Haskell Building to apply paint to canvas. Their works will be auctioned to raise money for Grahams’ Senate bid.
“We’re going to have a good time with this,” Graham said. “This group of mayors is an entertaining crew, and some of them can be a little competitive.”
Guests will be entertained by Lite 96.1 morning personality Arthur Crofton, who will provide his unique artistic insight and commentary as the mayors create their masterpieces. The event will also feature a silent auction of vacation getaways and fun nights on the town.
Graham is seeking the 8th District seat of Jim King, who is leaving the Senate due to term limits.
'Mayors Support Art' will be held at The Haskell Building, 111 Riverside Avenue in Jacksonville, from 5:30 – 8:30 May 20th. Tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door, with all proceeds from the evening going to the Art Graham for Senate campaign.
