Holt is a nice addition, but he is old. His real benefit to the Jags will be waht he can teach their rookie WRs. I think they made some good draft picks at WR. Keep an eye on Dillard, he is going to be something special in the NFL.

It isn't looking good. Holt is on the downward side of his carreer. by year end fans are going to be calling for DG's job. That 0.500 mark will be a goal for this season.

Hope Holt is a DREAM COME TRUE. I must admit that when you are sitting on the couch shouting "my grandmother could have caught that ball," it is time for a massive international search to find the most talented wide receiver. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how many attempts are made by the QB if the WR is going to dance around and let the ball bounced off his chest. I know it's a tough position, but just like free throws in basketball, these guys are paid royally so they should be performing at a high level of expertise. CATCH THE BALL. We are behind you, Holt. And, while YACs are not the decisive factor, I really do want that as well. Touchdowns, baby, it's all about the W. Great article, my Man.

I think I would have titled this "Wanted - A Wide Receiver" or "Only Experienced Wide Receivers Need Apply" or "Come Back McCardell or Smith." I guess we have to admit that what we had were stars, greats, true Hall of Famers. Guys that could pluck a 100 mph pass from the air and make it look easy. We were spoiled and did not know it. How could we have been so blind?

David Lamm said in the early 90's that one day Miami, FSU and Florida would drop from the top five in College football. It was hard to imagine that day would come. Just the same, we never could imagine a Jaguar WR would drop a ball.

Picking a talented player requires talented drafting. Maybe the person that drafts Jaguar players is our problem? Keenan, Jimmy, we're sorry for taking you for granted . . . Please come back ! You too Freddie T!
