Crists fundaraising prowess may be under scrutiny. He has a history of surrounding himself wiht fundraisers who find themselves indicted or resigning after shady delaing to get money to him. There appears to be an investigation brewing over a 5.7 million dollar land deal where florida Forever funds were sent to one of his campaing finance members, Mori Hosseini of ICI Homes, for land the FDEP appraised at 3.2 million. THe land is known as the Stanaki aprcels and is located in Volusia County. The DCA didnt approve Hosseinis development plans for the property so it suddenly appeared on the Florida Forever wish list in 2006 AFTER Crist placed it in a Community Development District. Go figure!!
