Post graduation can be a scary thing. They don't tell students all the responsibilities that come with the degree. Getting health insurance may be something that new grads feel they can overlook but I would have to disagree. A majority of bankruptcies in society today are from medical expenses. In the long run, if you run into medical problems, you are going to pay more than you would of paying premiums. One of the most important things graduates need to remember is to do research. Going into a policy with no knowledge of what you purchased is foolish. You can do your own research on the web or I would recommend GradGuard.com. GradGuard is a website dedicated to students, graduates and parents of these young adults. They only represent A rated providers and they are willing to give you quotes and provide options that fit specific needs.
