Rep. Adkins to Host Federal Healthcare Reform Event
A Federal Healthcare Reform Conversation will be hosted by State Representative Janet Adkins, the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida, Inc. and Florida CHAIN, in cooperation with Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will be held at FCCJ's Betty P. Cook Nassau Center
in the 'Red" Bean Training Center Building in Yulee.
The conversation will focus on discussions dealing with Federal
Congress and the White House are debating several major health care
insurance reform ideas that will ultimately affect every United States
citizen. From government sponsored health insurance to higher taxes, elected officials are looking for public input as decisions are made about how health care services will be received and paid for in the future.
The public is invited to attend this event. Local, State and Federal
Elected Officials and Leaders, Hospital Administrators, Physicians,
State Organized Medicine Associations, Nursing Associations, County
Health Departments, members and leaders of local Chamber of Commerce, College and University Administrators and Professors, and Administrators of the Health Insurance Industry have also been invited to attend.
