Early Voting Begins Today for Special Elections
Beginning today at 9:30 a.m., the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office will open early voting locations for the September 15th Special Primary Election.
Voters who head to the polls will be casting ballots for Senate District 8, City Council District 13, and School Board District 1. The Senate race is a closed Republican primary so only registered Republicans living in the district may vote. However, the City Council and School Board races are open to all eligible registered voters who live in those districts.
Early voting will run through Saturday, September 12th. All locations will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and will be closed on Sunday, September 13th.
Registered voters may vote early at the following locations:
- The Supervisor of Elections Downtown Main Office
- Beaches Library
- Regency Library
- Southeast Branch Library
