Boosted by Polls, Rubio Releases New Web Video
The Marco Rubio campaign is clearly very encouraged by a pair of new polls showing him within 15 points of Governor Charlie Crist.
That's a substantial improvement from polls earlier in the year that showed him trailing by twice that margin.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely GOP Primary voters in the finds Crist ahead of Rubio 49% to 35%. Another four percent (4%) support another candidate, and 12% are undecided.
Republican respondents to a similar poll conducted by Quinnipiac University gave Crist a 50%-35% lead in the primary, closing the 29% point spread the poll found in August to a 15% lead.
Rubio's campaign is now circulating a web video that highlights some recent high-profile endorsements, positive quotes and growing media exposure.
