Crist Returns Art Graham to Jacksonville City Council
“Art is a knowledgeable entrepreneur and public servant who is well-suited to serve on the Jacksonville City Council,” said Governor Crist. “His previous experiences serving the people of Jacksonville will benefit the city, and I am confident he will be a welcome voice on the council.”
“I feel flattered to have the opportunity to come back and represent District 13. This shows that God works in mysterious ways,” Graham said.
Graham, 44, is the president of ART Environmental Consulting Services. He served on the Jacksonville City Council from 2003 to 2009 and on the Jacksonville Beach City Council from 1998 to 2002. Graham is also a past chair of the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization and vice president of the Regional Planning Association, as well as a member of the Jacksonville Beach Citizen Police Academy. Graham received his bachelor’s degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
Graham will fill the seat vacated by the suspension of John Meserve.
