Local GOP Organizing Members to Oppose ‘Obamacare’

lennyWith President Obama pushing for a vote on his health care proposal in the next few weeks, local party Chairman Lenny Curry put out a call to action on Thursday for local Republicans to make their voices heard in Washington.

"Good Republicans want to know what they can do to save our country from the radical left," said Curry in an email to party faithful.  "We can do this one issue at a time - with your help! There is a real opportunity to stop the ObamaCare train wreck by contacting the swing votes."

For those interested in making calls, the local GOP has provided a list of potential "swing vote" members of Congress along with the telephone numbers for their Washington, DC and local district offices.   The only Floridian on the list is freshman Alan Grayson, a sometimes controversial Democrat  from Central Florida.

See below for the full list of contacts...

  1. I question the effectiveness of contacting a Representative if you don't live in his/her district. It's got be near zero.

Reps are far more influenced by the people who can vote to keep them slopping at the govt. trough.

I think you would do better mounting a calling campaign to target the voters of each of those representatives districts.
