Comedian and Actor Sinbad to Play Comedy Zone
Comedian and actor Sinbad will be appearing at the Comedy Zone in Jacksonville this July for a five-show run from the 19th to the 21st.
Sinbad became well known in the 1990s when he was featured on his own HBO specials, appeared on several television series, and starred in the films "Necessary Roughness", "Houseguest", "First Kid", "Jingle All the Way" and "Good Burger." The comic actor is well known for keeping his act clean and was devoid of derogatory statements or foul language, which he felt was not necessary to sell a crowd and continue to make them laugh.
Sinbad currently has a reality show on WE tv called "Sinbad: It's Just Family" that airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m.
The following weekend, former "In Living Color" star Tommy Davidson will take the stage. His impressions of Sammy Davis, Jr. and Michael Jackson, among others, have become infamous.
The Comedy Zone is located inside the Ramada Inn off of I-295 & San Jose Blvd. Tickets run between $25 and $30, depending on seat selection, plus tax.
